ManaApt Privacy Policy

Effective 26 September 2026

ManaApt is an app that residential buildings (apartment associations) use to manage maintenance collections, expenses, announcements and maintenance requests. This policy explains what information the app handles, why, and the choices you have. "We" means ManaApt.

Your login

You can't sign up by yourself. Your building's admin creates your login in the app. For your login we keep your email address, name, flat number and role (resident or admin). Passwords are handled by Google Firebase Authentication and we never see them. The temporary password your admin sets is deleted once your login has been created.

What your building records in the app

Your building's admins enter and manage these records:

The app does not collect your location, contacts, photos or files, and it has no advertising, analytics or tracking tools.

How the information is used

Only to run the app for your building: showing dues and payments, monthly reports, announcements, maintenance requests, the vendor directory and upcoming birthdays. We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who can see it

Storage and security

Data is stored on Google Firebase servers. It is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest, and access is enforced by security rules that limit each building's data to its own members.

Keeping and deleting your data

Your information is kept while your building uses ManaApt. To delete your login:

Payment and expense records can stay with your building as part of its accounts. When a building stops using ManaApt, its data is deleted on request.

Children

Logins are for adult residents. Family members' names and birthdays, which can include children, are only ever entered by residents or building admins, and are visible only within that building.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date.
